English Information - HR ham operations
![]()
![]()
Honduras and the United States share a reciprocal agreement as far as ham operations are concerned, you can find more information about these agreements on the ARRL web site at http://www.arrl.org this means that if you are licensed as a ham operator by the FCC in the US you can operate with your call sign using an appendix in relation to the HR region that you are going to operate from, however if you want to obtain a temporary HR ham license read the steps below, 73's.
Please note that the agency that governs ham operations is part of the Honduran government and it might take some time before you are able to obtain a license, for example it takes a Honduran ham anywhere from 3-12 weeks before he or she gets a call sign, so please apply your best judgment on this, thanks and 73's.
